1933 Packard Eight Coupe Roadster.  Series 1001. 120 bhp, 320 cu. in. L-head inline eight-cylinder engine, three-speed manual transmission, solid front and live rear axles with semi-elliptic leaf springs, and four-wheel mechanical drum brakes. Wheelbase: 127.5 in.

This car was acquired by its current owner in 2006 and then a full body off frame restoration begun, as documented in the pictures.  Everything was refreshed, renewed or replaced.  Engine, transmission, rear axle, shock absorbers rebuilt, throw-out bearing, clutch…the list is too long.

CCCA Grand Classic winner in 2008 (#2847) and still shows well today.  This car is fully optioned, including a J&H Tonneau windscreen for the rear passengers, a much needed option when the top is down.  I drove this car and it is tight and a pleasure to drive.
